Saturnine Press is the work of letterpress artist Bryan Strom. They primarily print at home in Auburn, WA & in Olympia, WA at Community Print. Screenprinting projects are now possible through an Open Studio Membership at Postmark Center for the Arts in Auburn. Bryan also works as a Studio Assistant at Community Print helping with letterpress & risograph printmaking classes.
Bryan’s practice is print-focused with elements of collage & book arts. They often feature jewelry & textile pieces alongside more traditional paper mediums. Themes of their art include nature, death, gender, sexuality, & anti-capitalism as seen through a poetic lens.
